Taking personal responsibility is having the opportunity and ability to act independently and take decisions without authorisation. Then come the moralists and speak of a moral obligation to behave correctly towards or in respect of others. Examining the nature of ethics and the foundations of good and bad, character and conduct bring about principles of right and wrong concerned with and derived from the code of behaviour that is considered right or acceptable in a particular society. The analogy between insect society and human city is not new in the sciences of zoology and entomology related to biology and sociology. Are the morals and ethics of the humans then applicable to the insects? How do the humans control the state or fact of having a duty to deal with something or of having control over someone, apply to the insects?
